Ion meter

An Ion is an atom or a group of atoms with an electric charge. This charged particle can be positive or negative. A cation is a positively charged ion, and an anion is a negatively charged ion (atom or molecule). Ions are formed when a neutral (electrically neutral) atom loses or gains electrons. Anions have more electrons than protons, and cations have higher proton numbers.

Measurement of ion concentration or specific ion measurements through an ion meter it can be performed on a wide variety of samples such as water, food, beverages, pharmaceuticals and samples of biological origin.

Types of Ion meter your Laboratory may need

Portable

• The portable multi-parameter ion meter is equipped with a backlit LCD screen.

• Calibration from 2 to 5 points, including 8 concentration points, can be selected. • Direct ion concentration reading simplifies the measurement process. • The automatic diagnosis of the electrode shows the calibration points and slopes. • Selectable concentration units (PPM, MG/L, MOL/L) and ionic valence. • Auto-recognition 1-5 point calibration for U.S., NIST, and DIN shock absorbers. • The automatic diagnosis of the electrode shows the pH slope and displacement.
